Seating Nipples consists of a small piece of pipe that is used in conjunction with fittings or pipe. The nipple is used to connect two segments of a pipe system with threaded connections.
The Seating Nipple is a bottom NO-GO seating nipple that provides locking and sealing profile for lock mandrel. Only one seating nipple can be run in at the bottom of the completion string. When working, the lock key of the lock mandrel is extended and locked in seating nipple, thus the safety valve, flow control equipment, test instrument, etc. can be hung under the lock mandrel. Our seating nipples are widely used in oil and gas well production and completion.
